14K Rose Gold Illinois 40mm Hunters Case Pocket Watch With California Gold Quartz Fob & Chain in Yellow Gold. Circa 1890's. Stem wind, lever set. Case is heavily decorated with hand engraved stars and flowers. White enamel dial with Roman numerals in black with Arabic seconds register, blued steel spade hands, marked "Illinois". Engraved on cuvette "Bertha M Lee May 23, 1894". Movement No. 1193344, marked "Illinois Watch Co. Springfield". Case marked "B.W.C.Co. Warranted 14K U.S. Assay 744664". Chain measures 13" in length plus the fob which measures 1 1/4" by 1 1/8". Some of the gold quartz inlays have been stabilized. Gross weight with chain is 64.5 dwt. Watch is in excellent working order.
