Conjuring up the spirit of the famous European fairy tale, Steiff's Puss in Boots was created in three sizes, this being the largest at 20". The jointed mohair puss was made only between 1912-1917. A later Steiff version was unjointed. Although Puss' clothes have been replaced, his original glass eyes shimmer with mischief. Overall condition is good with typical wear to a piece of this age. CORRECTION: The clothing on the Steiff is not original.
