The Series 62 was a class of Cadillac produced from 1940 through 1964. The 62 was originally designed to replace the entry level Series 65, becoming the 6200. In 1948, the Series 62 moved to the same chassis as the Series 61, making the models virtually identical. A new OHV V8 was added in 1949, producing 60 HP from 331 cu in. In 1950 major changes were made to give the 62 a lower and sleeker appearance with a longer hood and one piece windshield. Hydramatic transmission became standard.Offered here is a genuine original 25,000 mile car. With original from factory Lynton Green paint and Grey Beige interior, this Series 62 appears to be restored given the state it presents, but retains all the patina and beauty of an all original show piece. Documentation of initial ownership and delivery dealer included. Always a local PA car, the Cadillac comes with all the luxury options you would expect. Power windows, steering, brakes, and transmission are but a few of the upgraded amenities standard to the model 62. As they say, “they’re only original once”. • Totally Original• Just 25,000 Original Miles• Always a Pennsylvania Car• Hydromatic Transmission• 331 cu in. V8 Engine
