Offered is a 1965 Shelby Cobra Mark II Roadster Factory Five Racing Replica. Titled as a 2006, this Factory Five rendition of the iconic roadster, is a meticulous build with attention paid to every detail in its construction. Starting with a donor 1989 Ford Mustang donor car, the car was assembled from frame up. Powered by a completely rebuilt 5.0 V8 Ford EFI motor with bronze valve guides, new pistons, bearings, oil pump and pan, resurfaced heads, bored and honed block, clutch alignment and more, the engine is essentially new. The transmission is a T5 manual 5-speed transmission with new clutch assembly. The frame was completely powder coated, four wheel disc brakes, Mustang front end, and Flaming River 20:1 rack and pinion steering. Over 140 hours were spent on the electrical components and installation. Interior appointments include chrome roll bar, ceramic coated exhaust, wind wings Raydot mirror, carbon fiber dash, autometer ultra-lite gauges, 14” leather steering wheel, and street performance seats with four point belts.
