This is a countertop game, measuring the strength of any patron up to 500 lbs by gripping the front handle for 5 cents. There are six lights, surrounding the center and each will light up when the arrow is passed a certain point. It provides two charts, stating the average strength of a banker, doctor, plumber, etc.. The charts are original to the machine but are moderately soiled, displaying water markings. Housed in a nice wood cabinet with chrome nickel-plated hardware and a cast aluminum ring around the measuring dial. C. early 1900s. Minor wear throughout. One key is included.
