Less than 5,000 of these Mills Violano-Virtuoso music players were made. It is a stunning piece of work featuring one interior light, a 4-panel front glass divider and a sleek mahogany cabinet brass hardware details. There are 44 inner piano keys with the violin magnificently sitting at the center. Invented by Henry. K Sandell, the Violano-Virtuoso also plays perforated music rolls. "Designated by the U.S. Government as one of the "Eight Greatest Inventions" of the decade.". Comes with 7 music rolls. Condition shows only light signs of wear, scuffs to the exterior finish, but nothing distracting from this magnificent instrument. An older restoration and playing very well and recently tuned.
