Manufactured in 1898 by Columbia Phonograph Company for the American Graphophone Company, Type BS. The mechanism is housed in a wood case with a curved glass front. On top of the case is a wooden marquee and metal horn. User drops a nickel into the slot on the top of the case and then winds the crank until it stops, and the cylinder record begins to play, when finished the reproducer returns to the starting position. Condition shows signs of wear, the marquee is a replacement like most of these machines, and the graphophone plays well. One cylinder record included. Includes one key.
