A rare Paul Dachsel designed vase. Gold gilt stylized handle, applied plum trees with enameled flowers. Ivory based body, iridized green bottom with extruded handles around the base. Crown mark, Austria Oval mark, RSTK mark, impressed numbers "3817-41". 10 - 3/4" high. Examples of the decoration are illustrated in "Monsters and Maidens: Collectors Edition", Vreeland, page 205, and "The House of Amphora", Scott, page 71. Circa 1899.
