Early and beautiful 16" Bru Bebe, incised above the top of the forehead "Bte S. G. D. G." and also on center back of head the well-recognized "Circle/dot" logo. She has almond-shaped eye cuts with striking light-brown paperweight eyes, well painted lashes with brows, with pierced ears, highlighted nostrils and well modeled lips with slight white space between, almost showing tiny painted teeth. Her head swivels on a separate bisque shoulder plate with realistic molded bosom and has very nice well-defined lower bisque arms with no apparent damage or repair. The body is sturdy, relatively clean with gussets at the elbows, hips and knees. The costume is a dark maroon velvet with beige pleated silk panels in center front with small pleated skirt, antique round toed black leather shoes with an impressed "B" within an oval and she wears an antique brown human hair wig over original cork pate and a period silk hat, which is well-coordinated with the remainder of the costume. CONDITION: Very difficult to see, but there is a very faint hairline running from the rim down the forehead, more or less to the center of the right eyebrow and almost into the eye itself. It is hard to see and only seen when turned to the perfect angle to catch the line, but is nevertheless present. It does not, however, disrupt any of the beauty she has and is well covered with the wig and bonnet in place.

Item Dimensions: 18" x 8" x 7".
