The 69.3cm blade with good choji hidare hamon. Ubu nakago with one mekugi-ana, fully signed, Hizen No Kuni Omi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro. Tsuka with silver fujikashura decorated in relief with dragonflies. Chakudo kirimon menuki. Good iron tsuba incised with dragonflies and gold eyes. Silver foil habaki. Fine red rohiro lacquer saya with dragonfly kojiri en suite with fujikashura. CONDITION: Blade in almost full polish with some abrasion towards boshi (point). Several microchips in ha, which do not detract. Saya in good condition overall with only extremely minor damage. Mounts are crisp and unpolished. Handle wrap is tight. Same is almost presentation quality. Menuki are possibly reproduction. Altogether a very attractive shinto katana, perfect for iai or collection. MZ
