Blade measures 8", abbreviated fluke measures 1 - 3/4", spike measures 20". Head overall measures 29" to the straps which appear to be original. CONDITION: Good for a polearm of this age. The dark hardwood shaft, well faceted, possibly period. Shaft with museum numbers in red lacquer. An attractive large polearm. PROVENANCE: FORMER COLLECTION OF THE NELSON-ATKINS MUSEUM OF ART.
