This lot consists of a purplish pink sapphire, diamond and platinum ring, size 7-1/2. The ring has a total dwt of 3.2 and the following is stamped on the interior of the band: "SA1.68ct D0.86ct Orianne PT950." This ring is accompanied by two reports, a GIA Sapphire Report and an AIG Gem Laboratory report, both dated 2017. The GIA Sapphire Report (GIA report number 2183163863) notes that this natural sapphire and natural corundum is a brilliant cut and step cut pear shape. The sapphire, when it was loose, was approximately 1.68 carats and has the following measurements: 8.90 x 7.07 x 3.53 mm. This report notes that there is no evidence of heating present. The AIG Gem Laboratory report (Trace No. RN022029 and Appraisal No. 000717170113) was originally constructed for the use of an estimate retail value appraisal. This report notes that the sapphire is a type II, according to AIG means that this type of gemstone usually has minor inclusions. There are approximately 66 round brilliant cut diamonds present according to AIG, that have an approximate total weight of 0.83 points. These diamonds were graded in the setting and have a clarity range from SI2 to I1 and a color range from F to H. The ring has a total weight of 4.97 gm. Overall the ring is in good condition with normal wear present.
