This lot consists of a platinum and diamond brooch in the shape of a bow. The brooch is 2-1/4" long and has a total dwt of 9.0. There are three large diamonds present on the brooch, which have inclusions visible at 10x. These diamonds were in house graded and have approximately F color, and all of the diamonds are old European cut. The large center diamond is approximately 1.0 carats in size. The two smaller diamonds, of the larger diamonds, are approximately 0.50 points each, totaling 1.0 carats in size. There are 40 other small round diamonds present on the brooch. Of these smaller diamonds 38 have an approximate size of 0.05 points each (totaling an approximate of 1.90 carats), and two have an approximate size of 0.07 points (totaling an approximate of 0.14 points). The diamonds that outline the bow, appear to have been cut by hand and inclusions are visible in those at 10x. Those diamonds are approximately 0.02 points each, and there are approximately 158 diamonds, making an approximate total of 3.16 carats. Overall the piece is in good condition with normal wear present.
