Very pretty, 26 - 1/2" doll, with head stamped in red on the back "Depose Tete Jumeau DTE S.G.D.G. 12". Nicely painted head with well painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, highlighted nostrils, brown paperweight eyes, pierced earlobes, attached to the original fully jointed body by a coil spring. The body bears original finish, has straight wrists, and is stamped on the torso "Bebe Jumeau Diplome D'Honneur". Nicely presented in a burgundy costume with pleated front, plaid under skirt, with matching color trim, lace collar and sleeves, and throughout the costume. Hat is made of the same fabric and style as the dress; wig is antique blond mohair, possibly original, over antique cork pate. Shoes are antique camel colored leather, and undergarments are also antique and appropriate.
