Original artwork used for the front and back of Baron von Richthofen's 1980 reprinted autobiography. Baron von Richhofen "the Red Baron" wrote his autobiography in 1917. In 1969 noted von Richthofen expert translated the work into English, and Stanley M. Ulanoff was the work's editor. in 1980 "Aero Publishing, Inc" reprinted the 1969 translation and used different covers. Uwe Feist, a well-known author, expert, and artist on German World War II weapons and equipment was commissioned in 1980 to paint the artwork used on the cover and back of the reprinted book. This is the original artwork signed and dated by Uwe Feist in 1980. The overall size is 26" x 18", which includes the left 12" representing the back cover, and the right 14" representing the front cover. CONDITION: Near mint. WZ
