12 - 1/2" Bisque socket head doll stamped in back of head in red "Depose Tete Jumeau Bte S G D G 3". She has bulbous blue paperweight eyes, well painted multi-stroke brows and tiny lashes, a closed mouth with a hint of a space between the lips, pierced earlobes, dimple in chin and is mounted by a coil spring to the original French fully-jointed wooden composition body with original pinkish finish, no marks found. She wears what appears to be her original blonde mohair wig over cork pate and has been well re-costumed in a midnight blue pleated silk dress with lace trim and painted buttons, and wearing simple but old undergarments, blue knit socks and brown leather shoes that are antique but bear no markings. CONDITION: Overall very good.
