A coin is placed in the slot at the top of the bank. The weight of the coin causes the mechanism to record the deposit. There are two windows in the bank that show the deposit. The top window reads from 0 to 9, and the bottom one reads from 00 to 99. After nine pennies are deposited a 0 will show in the top window. The lower window then registers 10. The bank registers p to 100 pennies and then both reset to 0. Book example Mechanical Banks by Dan Morphy. CONDITION: overall excellent to near mint.
