A very expressive and highly detailed lantern with inset paper mouth and eyes. Applied cloth and moss trims at crown. Intricate paint to face including crow's feet, applied facial decoration and eyebrows. Retains original candle holder within. Hairline crack and small missing papier mache piece on left side at crown, where wire handle is attached.

Condition: (Very Good Plus).
