A very nice Atlanta Arsenal style CSA plate with all three hooks in place. Green patina from the high copper content of the brass, with some brown at bottom right. Nice border and well defined letters. Indented border at lower right edge to make room for the period. See Mullinax (1991) Plate 075 for a parallel. Recovered at Jonesboro, GA, per consignor note. CONDITION: Very good. This is the quintessential Confederate belt plate. SR
