A delightful flat top acoustic guitar, model 00-17 by Martin & Co. manufactured in 1950 with the serial no. 114170. The "17" in the model name placing this guitar at the lower end of how fancy this guitar is compared to one with a higher number. Constructed of mahogany, exposing the natural wood finish and nice lacquer. It is a small sized guitar and light weight. Features include a tortoise shell pickguard and unique tuning keys that appear to have been unprofessionally repaired. Scratches are evident throughout the surface of the guitar. Comes with case. Guitar, 39"T x 14-1/2"W.
