Demetre Chiparus "Civa", c. 1928. Cold-painted and parcel-gilt bronze and tinted ivory on an illuminated onyx base. Bronze signed "Chiparus", stamped "8" and with a partial imprint "MADE IN FRANCE". Illustrated in "Chiparus: Master of Art Deco", Shayo, 1993, p. 32 and 169.
