Vintage, C. 2004. Framed oil on board painting by a well known American wildlife artist Don Kloetzke (Wisconsin, B. 1951-). This lovely oil on board painting is entitled "Ruffed Grouse". Work Size: 24" x 36". In this vibrant and color enriched art piece artist captured an absolutely gorgeous well detailed late fall woodland scene, embraced with tall birch trees and a large ruffed male grouse at its quick escape flight. Signed "Kloetzke" in the lower-left margin, and dated 2004. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent vintage condition. There's a very small missed paint spots, and a few small paint chips located in the bottom lower-left corner just above the signature, and in the bottom middle-center margin. Painting is nicely framed in a stately looking modern gold gilded ornate composition frame, complimented with 1/2" wide linen plinth. Frame is showing signs of use, some gold gilt wear, and a chipped top-right corner. Please refer to all photos. Wired to the verso. Otherwise this is an outstanding example of an American wildlife subject matter.
