This is a c. 1905 English carriage walking stick cane of leather and wood with silver knob and collar and maker mark. The maker mark is "S & A": Shaine & Adeney, makers to the King and Queen, 185 Picadidily, London. The silver knob is 1 - 1/4" high by 3/4" across the top. There is a 1" silver collar; an 8 - 1/2" leather handle, showing some wear, sits between the knob and the collar. It is mounted on a shaft of Hawthorne wood with a 2 - 1/2" silver and iron ferrule. The overall length is 39 - 1/2". The condition is very good.
