Early silver fireman's trumpet from Dorchester, Massachusetts. Presentation reads "Presented to Sam'l F. White of Protector Engine Co. No. 2 by the Citizens of Dorchester as a token of respect and esteem. May 11, 1855". This fine trumpet employs embossing, casting and engraving of floral patterns. The eagle tassel holders are truly unique. 14 toz. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
