This European, probably German, halberd head measures 19", including the 14" diamond section spike. It has 14-3/4" iron straps on both sides and a 3-1/2" cutting edge. The head measures 8" across and the tail is marked on the right side with an unknown armorers mark. The cone is faceted. 33" of the haft appear original while the other 35" have been added at a later time, attached by steel straps. CONDITION: Head retains a dark patina with some scattered corrosion and spike on top is slightly bent.
