First Quarter 20th century, American. This fine example depicting a rampant lion on a beige and pale indigo ground within a lozenged poly chrome border on an olive green ground. Now mounted on a ridged frame with linen backing. Some repairs above the eye of the lion, minimal and minor thread loss above proper left foreleg. General surface soiling overall. No staining observed. Good to very good overall.
