Bottom right-hand corner, "From Painting by Thomas Moran, Which Hangs in the National Gallery of Art at Washington". Powerful image of the Grand Canyon in Yellowstone National Park. The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is the first large canyon on the Yellowstone river. Yellowstone park pieces are always a sure bet. Exceptionally rare in the "portrait" orientation as opposed to "landscape" orientation.
