This is a typically Victorian mourning arrangement utilizing a wreath in a shadowbox frame around a mourning badge. Jackson is portrayed in a gray and white highlighted black silhouette on a black-bordered, light brown oval panel with black ribbon bow at top with black ribbons extending below the oval. Superimposed on the black ribbon bow is a second bow of white ribbon, now cream color, with a Virginia state seal button. CONDITION: Very good. Gilt frame with scattered losses. Not disassembled for inspection. SR
