The artist was Frank E. Schoonover. This iconic image has represented Colt for almost a century. Print measures 32" long x 18-3/4" wide. Printed on a heavy textured poster paper in brilliant color. Features the cowboy Tex with his holstered Colt Single Action Army with steer head grips and his equally famous horse "Patches". Dated 1925 at the bottom. Poster is in excellent condition, showing virtually no creases. Brilliant color with no fading and blacklight shows no signs of inpainting or repair. An opportunity to buy a high condition period poster. One of the most iconic images in the firearms industry. CORRECTION: This calendar does not have its metal bands but is an original piece.
