This nice example with a strong geometric central lobed medallion centered within a rose red field of dense polychrome saz leaf decoration, geometric flower stalks and lightening devices. The medallion with striking ivory zig-zag border. The whole within a blue-black main border of geometric and stylized flower heads within trellis work. The rug is 9'6" x 12'4". Pile remains good and rug is supple. Wear to outer guard border at end with loss of fringe. Palette strong.
