Belgian classical painter. Georges van den Bos was born in Ghent and studied at the academies there and in Brussels before completing his training in Paris. His subjects include landscapes and figural works and are included in several museum collections including the museum in Ghent. Oil on canvas, circa 1885. Spanish interior scene. Relined. 2" tear and repair on sitter's left shoulder.
