Considered the first GPMG (General Purpose Machine Gun) ever made, the MG-34 proved both its efficiency and reliable while utilized in battle in a variety of combat roles. This example has been fitted with a dummy receiver. Barrel jacket extension is dated 1945, and is marked "dot" for Waffenwerke Brunn. barrel jacket is stamped with the Israeli Star of David and is fitted with a ZB-26 bipod, indicating issue to the IDF. Included a 50 round belt. CONDITION: NRA: Fair. Retaining little finish and showing some surface oxidation. Charging handle is loose and does not fit properly. -MLW-
