German World War II late war Waffen SS Panzer M43 cap, referred to by collectors as the "Dachau" variant. Thin black wool body exhibits only light storage wear, with textbook late war machine embroidered trapezoid Waffen SS eagle and skull zig-zag machine stitched to the front. Two buttons secure the front of the pull down sides, and the two pull downs are intact and made from the same gray cotton HBT twill as the cap lining. Cap is lined in a light gray HBT pattern cotton twill lining, which does not appear to have any damage, and is size marked "57" with a correct black ink stamp. Very light soiling is present on the inside front of the lining. Bottom of the front brim is the standard light tan cardboard, with light to moderate crazing due to the cap having been folded.
