Originally displayed in a small museum in Pennsylvania, where Crandall was from. He was a toy inventor and innovator in the mid to late 19th century. This is an impressive collection of eight various advertisements for Crandall toys and blocks, which were made of mostly wood. There are 11 items also in this lot, including a menagerie of wild animals in the original box, an Aeolia piano, 2 district schools, 1 is blocks and 1 is actual desks, students and teacher, famous acrobat set in the original box, a building blocks set in the original box, 3 spider and the fly games and a pigs in clover game, which was one of Crandall's best sellers along with the acrobats. All look to be complete or mostly complete, various conditions but overall very good to excellent. Impressive collection.
