Mid 18th century. Mid-Atlantic region. The yoke crestrail above the bold vasiform urn slat inlaid with Prince of Wales patera over an oval inlaid with classical urn. The trapezoidal slip seat within a molded frame, raised on delicate cabriole legs with pointed pad feet. The chamfered rear legs backswept. Back height: 41" tall; seat height: 17" tall. Very good with well maintained surface. Strong mellow patina. Glue blocks and feet original.
