This incredible lot consists of the following: 25 advertising envelopes, not all Winchester, most in color, most have been stamped and cancelled. Correspondence, i.e. orders, letters, etc, including J.P Lauer to Sharps 1875; Winchester to Sharps 1879; Colt 1866 handwritten office report; Winchester to Sharp 1875; Colt to General Ward 1876; Winchester billing receipts to Sharps 1876 (12 different); 1887 Spencer Rifle Company stock certificate; Winchester to Sharps letter 1876; Winchester to Signer and Ward 1910-1919 (four different); full color loaded and empty shotgun shell catalog circa 1900; three original hang tags for Model 62, 67, and 69; six shotgun shell box inserts; original instructions that went in the box for a Winchester Model 1886, early 1894 carbine, two 1897 shotguns, Model 54 Hornet, Model 1895 Winchester; 1930's Winchester Custom rifle and shotgun catalog for deluxe and engraved models; there is a Mrs. Topperwein Winchester shooting exhibit in Atlantic City 1919 flier; and dozens of other miscellaneous early Winchester fliers for various early firearms. This lot also includes the following outside of the binder: a 1913 good-very good Marlin catalog; early Winchester 1873 booklet with no back cover and taped, although it does have the original foldout drawing of the 1873, and precedes the 1873 functioning as an advertisement for the gun that won the west; 1897 catalog No. 59 soft leather bound salesman catalog, complete with original cover that is factory tabbed for quick reference by the Winchester sales representative; and lastly, an 1882 Rules of the Springfield Rifle Carbine and Army Revolvers, hardbound; Winchester catalog No. 79 1949 in excellent condition; Winchester 1896 complete catalog in excellent condition with some minor binding damage. This lot has a tremendous breakdown value.
