This sign dates back to the 1870s. It retains its original stamped Jackson & Company wooden frame. It has stamps on the top and bottom. The lithograph was done by The Donaldson Brothers, Five Points, New York. The back of the sign has a label from 1872 which talks about the company that made the frame and put the finishing protective touches on this sign. The company was called the Harris Finishing Company, who were showcard mounters and conservators. This is a very early and historic sign in very good condition. The colors remain strong and the graphics are quite fantastic and detailed. There are some areas that have some paint loss as well as some soiling and general wear. The sign displays excellent as-is, but could use a professional cleaning.

Condition: (Very Good).

Item Dimensions: Frame: 29 - 3/4" x 24" x 1 - 1/4".
