This is an original circus or side show banner by the artist Johnny Meah. Johnny Meah is a respected painter whose banners of sideshow performers hang in such places as the Smithsonian, the Barnum Museum in Westport, Connecticut, and Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art. This 8' by 7" Banner is in all-original condition. Faded color and repairs to the canvas as well as the hanging eyelets, signed by Meah Studios. Last offered for sale at Guerney's Coney Island Auction in 1988.
