20th century bronze sculpture, after Jules Moigniez, of an eagle having coming in to land on a stick perch. Eagle has its wings stretched upwards and 1 claw suspended in the air showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. Textured feathers, rugged base, and sharp talons testify to Moigniez’s artistry. The bronze sculpture sits atop a green marble base with a plaque reading, “EAGLE / By Moigniez.”. The cast signature, J. Moigniez, is shown on the base. Affixed to swirled green marble base with brass name plaque. CONDITION: Excellent. BRM.
