Large and beautiful figural bronze by Emile Edmond John Peynot (French, 1850 - 1932). The 35" tall bronze depicts a beautiful woman brushing her hair with her hand. She is in a long, flowing robe. Bronze is signed on the pedestal "E. Peynot 1893." Stamped "Paris" and "7293." Condition: Excellent, free of cracks or deformities. Beautiful rich brown patina.
