Lot consists of 2 wood-bodied telescopes, early nineteenth century. (A) Single-draw marked "Barry Minories London / Day or Nght" on tube. CONDITION: Very good. Minor handling marks to wood. Eye eyepiece protector functional. (B) Unmarked. 2-piece draw with forward outer tube extending as well. CONDITION: Good. Lens protector on eyepiece functional but other piece is jammed. Handling marks to wood. 1 hairline 3" crack to wood extending from forward edge. A nice looking pair of nautical telescopes with good wood and medium tones to the brass.
