Lot consists of (A) Large painted Plains Indian drum circa 1940s. Stretched, native tanned rawhide heads on both ends and painted blue overall. Includes wood handled, leather covered drum beater with buckskin thong. (B) Indian rawhide rattle circa late 19th century. Sinew sewn and painted dark red. CONDITION: Drum is solid and still playable if one desires. One rawhide handle detached but present. Rattle is intact but is dimpled in on both sides. BRM.
