Lot contains: (A) Luftwaffe first model dagger, and (B) Kriegsmarine dagger. (A) Luftwaffe dagger marked "Helbig". Blade is very good with runner marks, finish bubbling to 5-10%, and areas near tip and edge where the finish is missing. Nickel fittings with a blue leather wire-wrapped grip are very good to excellent condition. Blue leather wrapped scabbard and nickel plated steel fittings are in excellent condition, with a couple of minor dings. Dagger includes the correct chain and hanger in excellent condition. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent. (B) Kriegsmarine dagger with a "WKC" marked blade, with light runner marks and a couple of spots of freckling. Brass cross guard and pommel, as well as wire-wrapped trylon grip are near mint. Brass scabbard with gilt remaining in recesses is excellent, with one throat screw missing. CONDITION: Overall excellent.
