Lot consists of: (A) 6th plate double armed Union soldier with short shell jacket and revolver and cutlery handled Bowie knife in his belt. Clear image with gold tinted buttons. Housed in a double hinged leatherette case. (B) Extremely clear, seated, double armed Union infantryman wearing a 9-button coat with a musket with fixed bayonet and a cutlery handled Bowie in his belt. Nicely hand tinted with kersey blue trousers and gold buttons. Housed in a maroon lined thermoplastic cased featuring nesting birds vignette. Included is an original Civil War campaign medal M.No. 2460 that originally came with the image. CONDITION: Both images are very good in solid cases.
