There are two shoulder heads, the larger of which is 29" in a printed floral cotton dress with lace trim. She has a center part hairdo, brushed to the side in bunches of long curls framing the face and into short vertical curls in back, stopping at the neckline. She has a cloth body with mitten-type stitched hands and the lower legs have printed stockings as part of the body. The other China, also with center part but short curly hair is 24", with china lower arms (left thumb missing), in a period blue two-piece gingham dress with big brass buttons and lace trim and sewn-on velvet slippers. The shortest, 15", is an all-porcelain one-piece so-called "Frozen Charlie" with very deep tinting all over, rosy cheeks, well-modeled cafe Au Lait wispy hair, outstretched arms and bare feet. Someone has crocheted a Tryolean-style costume for him and although completely sewn around, we have tried our best to examine the covered parts, and from what we could see we found no damage, however it is sewn very tight.
