Comprising: (A) A late 18th century style pillow pommel dagger measuring about 15-1/4" overall with a 10-1/4" straight blade with a partial single fuller in the center on each side. Silver plated brass guard and pillow shaped pommel. Grip of marine ivory. CONDITION: Blade has been polished and sharpened. Mounts retain most of their original silver finish with some scattered flaking and edge wear. Grip retains a pleasing honey patina with a couple minor hairline age cracks. (B) Large dirk, probably American, measures 13-1/2" overall with a 9-1/4" blade of diamond section form. Small oval shaped guard followed by a brass ferrule. Wooden grip with a small brass cap at the pommel. CONDITION: Blade has been polished and sharpened. Handle and guard remain undisturbed. (C) European dirk with a tapered straight blade of 7-1/4". The ricasso on one side has floral engraving and the other shows a lion. There are tapered double fullers on each side. The grip is of horn with a brass pommel cap and a brass ferrule towards the blade. CONDITION: Retains a brown patina with some heavy pitting, it appears someone has begun grinding the tip. Horn grip shows scattered areas of insect damage, some of which have been filled with a dark epoxy. DMG
