Lot consists of fourty-six period leather books across and variety of subjects. A small sampling includes the following: Bunce, "The Romance of the Revolution", Bunce and Brother, New York, 1854; W. Young, "The Universal Asylum and Columbian Magazine for 1792", W. Young, Philadelphia, 1792; Worman, "First German Book After the Natural or Pestalozzian Method for Schools and Home Instruction", American Book Company, New York, 1880; Butler, "Sketches of Universal History, Sacred and Profane, From the Creation of the World to The Present Time." Roberts & Burr, Hartford, 1823; Robertson, "The History of America: Volume the Second", Dublin, 1777. CONDITION: Due to the age and variety of books, there is a swathe of conditions ranging from poor to fine. Some books have extensive staining, foxing, loose or absent pages, and/or elemental damage. Others are fine, with tight binding, relatively clean pages, and a smaller amount of wear. Due to the extensive nature of the lot and conditions, it would behoove an interested buyer to examine the lot for themselves.
