Lot contains: (A) Pre-1900 Imperial German officer Pickelhaube which appears to have been worn by a government (perhaps Lower Saxony) official. Black leather body has moderate crazing, and officer quality leather and satin liner has moderate wear and damage. Brass trim has sliver electro plating with moderate wear, and spike is missing. Only a Prussian officer cockade is present. CONDITION: Overall very good. (B) Imperial German World War I Saxon enlisted Pickelhaube. Black leather body has moderate wear and crazing, front visor has a 2" piece missing, and brown leather liner has moderate wear and damage. Brass spike and top plate are replacements, Hessian front plate and trim are the M1915 gray ones, and chinstrap is missing. Both the Saxon and national cockades are present. CONDITION: Overall very good. (C) Pre-1900 Imperial German Bavarian enlisted Pickelhaube. Black leather body has heavy damage and wear, and black leather liner, while intact, is dry with moderate wear. A cloth name tag is sewn to the liner. Brass trim exhibits heavy patina with none of the gilt remaining. CONDITION: Overall fair. (D) Imperial German World War M1915 Prussian enlisted Pickelhaube. Black leather body has moderate crazing and damage, rear visor is missing, and enlisted brown leather liner has moderate damage. Wartime gray finish metal trim is present on Prussian front plate, top plate and front rim, etc. CONDITION: Overall good. WEZ
