Lot contains: (A) Wehrmacht vehicle recognition flag, (B) Large Nazi party flag, (C) Third Reich veteran's organization flag, and (D) Third Reich podium flag. (A) A single-sided Wehrmacht vehicle flag 69" by 33". These were tied down to vehicles, especially armored vehicles, during the early war years to prevent Luftwaffe aircraft from attacking friendly vehicles. Flag retains very bold and bright colors with no visible damage other than one of the four brass corner tie down eyelets being almost completely detached. CONDITION: Unused and excellent plus. (B) Large double-sided printed Nazi party flag 93" by 54" with bold, bright colors. Sewn cloth tag to attachment end identifies the maker of "Bonner Fahnenfabrick, Bonn a. Rhine", and flag has a 10" by 7" replaced piece era machine-sewn to the upper outside corner. Flag has two attachment loops, and approximately a dozen minor 1/4 inch holes. CONDITION: Excellent. (C) Third Reich Imperial German veteran's association double-sided printed 46" by 44" flag. Flag has about a dozen small holes and is missing the trim on one side, which is now frayed, and likely to have been the attachment side. CONDITION: Very good. (D) Third Reich single-sided podium flag 53" by 48" with machine sewn eagle and side strips, and tassle on the lower edge. Black eagle and swastika highlights have been machine-sewn through the entire flag. Colors are faded and top edge, where the attachment trim was likely to have been, is now frayed. CONDITION: Good.
