The lot consists of: (A) Queen's South Africa Medal impressed in narrow sans-serif capitals to "5702 PTE. J. CONNOLLY, S. STAFF: REGT:". The medal displays the Transvaal, Orange Free State, and Cape Colony clasps. (B) Queen's South Africa Medal impressed in narrow sans-serif capitals to "15419 ARMR: A.E. CLEAVE, STAFF 18TH IMPL: YEO:". The medal displays the Transvaal, Rhodesia, and Cape Colony clasps. (C) Queen's South Africa Medal impressed in narrow sans-serif capitals to "1741 PTE J.H. PIERCE. CAPE TN: HGHRS:". The medal displays the South Africa 1902, South Africa 1901, and Cape Colony clasps. (D) Queen's South Africa Medal impressed in narrow sans-serif capitals to "SERJT: T. ST. W.L. GATES. RHOD: REGT". The medal displays the Relief of Mafeking and Rhodesia clasps. (E) Queen's South Africa Medal impressed in heavy square sans-serif capitals to "7322 PTE H.H. JONES, R. LANC: REGT". This is an early "Type B" medal with Britannia's wreath pointing towards the "R" in Africa and ghost dates of "1899-1900". (F) Queen's Mediterranean Medal impressed in narrow sans-serif capitals to "1252 PTE H. KEEDY. NORTH'D FUS:" CONDITION: Some medals display a nice patina with scattered blemishes, good-very good.
